The Yak 54 has unbeatable stability and precision flight characteristics.  The Yak is a great choice for both the beginner and advanced competition competitor.

We tested our model with a DA-50 gas engine.  The all-up weight, ready-to-fly, is an incredible 15 3/4 pounds.

Requires:

• Engine:  50cc gas engine recommended.
• Muffler:  Tuned Pipe or Pitts style suggested.
• Radio:  Minimum (4) channel radio.  (Computer radio recommended)
• Servos:  (5) High Torque - 125 oz. in. of torque - minimum.  We only recommend the use of metal gear servos.  The control surfaces are very large and deflect over 45 degrees.  A lot of power is required to prevent flutter and provide excellent holding power and full deflection.  We used JR 8611 Digital Servos on all control surfaces in our model.
